Ribbon Cutting for New Summit Charter Academy!
New Summit Academy will be holding a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of their full-size Gymnasium on June 7, 2022.
Open to both the school and the community, the Gymnasium will open a whole new world of opportunities for all those who use it, it will provide a place for students to play sports and serve as a gathering place around which social activities can occur. The two-story, high school-sized gymnasium space will occupy about 10,200 square feet, and will include bleachers, janitor, restrooms, changing rooms, vestibules, electrical room, and storage.
Having open its doors in 2018 with over 500 students, New Summit Charter Academy offers grade K-8 and plans to apply for a high school to be added in the future. This non-profit, tuition free, public charter school in Academy District 20, serves families with kids ages 3 and up within and around school districts 11, 20, and 49, as well as the Briargate area. It also provides preschool for children ages 3-5 and full-day kindergarten for families who opt for this choice.

As one of its market expansion efforts, Columbia Sportswear will be holding a grand opening of a new Brand Store in Colorado Springs, through a ribbon cutting ceremony to be held on June 9, 2022.
Columbia, the flagship brand of Portland, Oregon-based Columbia Sportswear Company, has been creating innovative apparel, footwear, accessories, and equipment for outdoor enthusiasts since 1938. Columbia has become a leading global brand by channeling the company's passion for the outdoors and innovative spirit into technologies and performance products that keep people warm, dry, cool, and protected year-round.
The opening of this Brand Store will be a great addition to the Colorado Springs thriving sports sector whose annual revenue is projected at $400 million.

Ribbon Cutting for Whispering Aspen!
Whispering Aspen is one of the initiatives by Integrated Life Choices to provide an opportunity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live a fulfilling life.
Located in Colorado Springs, the Whispering Aspen shop provides an array of creatively designed products by individuals with disabilities. Whether using a heat press to imprint apparel and bags, creating scented candles and soap, or designing coffee mugs; these individuals work hard and prove that their disabilities are not an inability to meet and exceed all standards.
The shop also sells the work of local artists to promote the spirit of community integration, which is ingrained in its mission to support each other’s work the way a true community should.
