BIOS:


Jackie Gonzalez:
  Jackie is a Business Banker, specializing in SBA lending, with American Bank of Commerce.  She is a Colorado Springs native who has been in the banking industry in Colorado Springs for over 35 years.   

At ABC Bank she enjoys working with businesses to help them achieve their financial goals and has the experience and expertise to work within a variety of different business sectors. She currently serves as an Ambassador for the Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC, is a Certified Consultant for the Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center and supports a variety of local causes. She has previously served as a Board Member for the Loan Approval Committee for the City of Colorado Springs Housing and Urban Redevelopment Division and Preferred Lending Partners. She is currently the Chair for the Ambassador’s for the Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC and serves as the Secretary of the Board for the Children’s Literacy Center.  



Eva Padilla:  Eva is the Regional Manager of Southern Colorado for the Colorado Enterprise Fund. She helps drive her company’s mission by providing business resources and lending support to underserved entrepreneurs. Eva moved here from Dallas, TX two years ago, during the pandemic, and has not looked back!

She is originally from Honduras but raised in Dallas. She has 15 years of lending experience with JP Morgan Chase & Citigroup holding various positions in business management and mortgage lending. Eva and her organization were recently recognized in the December edition of the Colorado Springs Business Journal for the work they do to support minority entrepreneurs.



Shane Sherman:  Shane is the President of 18 Sierra Financial, a private business lending and financial consulting firm.  After aiding businesses at the start of the Covid pandemic, he continued to raise capital through 18 Sierra which is invested into business across Colorado.

Prior to his current role, he was a senior Leader at Danaher, a fortune 150 firm where he led one of Danaher’s business units to double digit growth including assisting merger and acquisition efforts.  Prior to his time at Danaher, he co-founded a Leadership Development startup that trained NFL players and coaches.

His career started in the U.S. Military serving as an Army Green Beret, most of his career at Ft. Carson, Colorado Springs.  He conducted multiple global deployments where he led fellow Green Berets and Allied soldiers.  Shane has received numerous Military awards for his valor on the battlefield.

He currently serves on the Pikes Peak Hospice Board of Trustees, Colorado Springs Leadership Institute, is an Adjunct Faculty at UCCS, is a Colorado Governor’s Fellow, an SBDC consultant, and was a committee member for Exponential Impact providing businesses with bridge loans during the Covid-19 outbreak. Shane received his Bachelor of Science in Economics at Santa Clara University and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
